Well im not sure where to begin this. Its been 3 weeks since I set foot in a gym or did anything but go to work and straight home. I have never been this bad. I am on no meds right now. I use to be on cymbalta and as bad as I thought that was this is by far soo much worse. I need something and something bad. I have looked into placing an order for Prozac but at this point I am truly at a loss as to what to do. If anybody has any ideas or even left over meds pm me plz

I am always on. I have always been on 300mg of test but today I just jumped it to 600 to see if that may help. I dont have health insurance right now so I cant afford to see any docs. I actually feel a shit ton better just righting that out. The only med I have right now is adderall and while I feel great with it Its not the answer and I dont like the med cause I feel like a crack head. I am super duper productive on it but it just burns me out. I was looking at ordering some prozac as I found it cheap $50 from India. I can no londer afford my cymbalta which sucks but my ex-fiancee is going to give me what she has. I think things are gonna be better I just need to pull it together and get to the gym.
List of meds is really short. Its cymbalta and Geodon. thats the only 2 meds I have ever taken. However I was on cymbalta for years but when my health insurance ran out I could no longer afford it. At first I loved not being on it but now I really wish I was back on it. It gave my insomnia but I will take insomnia over worhtlessness any day

Self prescribing meds is NOT a good idea. It's a good way to really mess yourself up. If you feel you absolutely must be on something you might consider calling the doctors office that prescribed and explaining the situation and see if they won't give you some samples. Anti depression medications as I'm sure you know alter the chemicals in your brain and this is serious business.

I agree. I have briefyl taken prozac before. This is nothing new to me. It worked just not as well as the cymbalta did. I have tried calling but they wont see me unless I "Pay for an office visit and I just simply cant afford to shell out $250 that they are asking. I cant really afford anythign right now as I am trying to get my house out of foreclosure right now.

so besides getting a house out of foreclosure what else is happening? Marriage good? Kids ok? Job secure?

with all that test, how are your E2 levels?

Okay here is the scoop that got me where I am
(MY age at the begining of these events was 22)
jan 10th 05 wrecked my bike which left me Food Bar for about 18 months
jan 22nd 05 Father dies out of the blue
Feb 13th 05 Grandma dies as well
aug 25 or 29th 2005 Hurrican Katrina takes my job, everything I ever owned, my College, my house and our family home.
Begging 2006 stepmom sells our family home and moves away.
Brother moved away
Mother Moved away when I was 18
Best friends never returned after Katrina
My fiancee and I broke up about 18 months ago(I know its been a while but I still think about her from time to time)
Aug. last year I quit my job b/c it was destroying my life which was good and bad. It was good because I was able to stabilize my personal life but bad because it caused me to basically bankrupt
Got a new job at a major Electronics store and catapulted. I am less then three months in and I am in the top 5 for sales for the entire company which if fucin ridiculously fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

I just recently achieved the a phenomenal physic and never looked better.
I have a hot girlfriend who loves the shit out of me but for some reason I dont care
I just started the test @ 600mg today so I havent had my blood work done but I will begin 1.0mg or mcg of letro once a week to control estrogen. Also with Bf at sub 10% Im not to to worried about estrogen out of control.
I think Ive given a pretty good outlook. It just appears to me that there are no reasons I should feel like this but I do. And I dont know why. Hence the deprression???

you have been through some major life changing events, reactive depression is normal (eg after bereavement), endogenous depression may have been caused by the accumulated effects of all your life events, on the background of a genetic predisposition. There could also be an element of PTSD after a major social catastrophe such as the hurricane. Does depression run in the family?

If the meds didn't work previously, it could be worth trying CBT, some people respond excellently to it, others less so but its worth a shot. Good luck

My question is how do you afford all the test if you can't afford the doctor. I guess at this point you need the test the rest of your life huh?

My next bit of advice then would be to see if you qualify for state aid health insurance. If not then make payments to the doctors office. Most offices will allow you to pay in installments even if it is $25 a month. I hate Walmart but they offer a lot of meds for $4 a month or $10 for 3 months. You might look at this list and see if you can get a script for one of these and then pay the doc as you can.

oh my! dare i say im with bus king? fucking first!
seriously get a fucking med evaluation. yes is terrible you are in such a state but sadly you are not helping yourself at all so seems you have only yourself to blame. you know what you need to do so why arent you doing it?
seeing as you have been taking meds you have to have a psychiatrist.

first, you don't need a reason to be depressed.

second, there are reasons to be depressed.

third, you make money and don't want to spend it on your health, but you are willing to spend money on your appearance. Do you really believe what Billy Crystal said:"It is better to look good than feel good, darrrrling"!

You work for big electronics firm and don't have benefits?

fourth, you are a great contributor to this board. There are some things missing in your story

fifth, allot of us here care about you. You've contributed. So get real.

And we'll collect the moments one by one. I guess that's how the future's done. Feist, "Mushaboom", 2005
