one problem that sometimes happens, when you do add the cold oil to the hot powder/ba/bb mixture, you can shock the experiment causing it to crash out of solution.

you should warm all items beit seperate or together

Nice to have ya, Basskiller! Good advice!

What are your thoughts on heating the powder, ba and/or BB prior to adding the oil? No fear of powder degradation due to heat? I always thought/hoped the oil would add a bit of protection.

Yes it is good to see you here BK. Should have took the time to say that in my last post on this thread. Read a lot of the stuff you've wrote.

I believe I asked this before , but can't find the thread.

Check my numbers please .
I want to make 50 ml of Test-E @ 350 per ml .

I was thinking
2% BA
10% BB
So !

According to the power calculator
30.88ml oil
17.50 powder
1.00 ml BA
5.00 BB

Is this correct ?
What would you change ?

Just was reposting it for the rest of our community to use if need be.

I wouldn't suggest changing anything, but would suggest letting the solution settle for a couple of days to see if it crashes. If not, proceed to filter. If so, add a bit more solvent and let sit again.

I know he's around here somewhere. Maybe he just got lost in his old age? I'll take a look around

ah geez, a guy takes a few days off to enjoy being a grandfather and he is missed. nice to be needed! ok, i take a different approach that is rock solid accurate.

for 50ml you need 17.5g of TE. i would go for 3%ba so that is 1.5ml, and 10%ba or 5ml of ba. i take a common household measuring beaker marked off with oz. and ml. add the powder, ba, bb and 25-30 ml of oil. either microwave carefully or put in hot water bath to dissolve and then fill to the 50ml line with your oil. you know that this way it will be exactly the concentration /ml that you want. filter as required.

You put ba twice haha. I'm guessing the 10 0/0 one is bb.

No worries about nuking your powders or heating the powders without the protection of oil?

I believe thats why he said "carefully or put in hot water bath to dissolve "
Carefully is the key word here.

LOL ya think I have a reading comprehension problem Hotrocks? LOL just jokin' with ya.

I asked the question because I was unsure if his recommendations could be conducted "carefully." I wanted to understand his reasoning behind his suggestions, ie if he thought there was any risk whatsoever or if there was another factor that mitigated the risk.
