WELL
over the passed few days two of the fingers on my left hand have been numb all day and nite (little finger and the one next to it )
so today i went to see the old doc..he said to me i have damaged nerve endings in my neck (somewhere) and not to worry about it and training is ok but try to not sleep on my left hand at night..

now correct me if im wrong here ok guys::girls
but if training is ok why the bloody hell should i have to worry about sleeping on my hand eehhhh ???
workouts are far far far more punishing on a nerve etc than sleeping on them (arent they) im no medical expert buy surely im rite here """or not""

Sounds like you need a new doc first off........ It isnt exactly the same thing as you but when I was in the thick of my last cycle I would wake up at night all the time and my legs or arms would be asleep just from laying on my side, just because they were getting so much heavier I am guessing. I wasnt laying "on" my arm or leg, just started having limbs get numb easier when i slept.

The last two fingers on you hand going numb can also becaused by tendonitis in the elbow area by pressure on the median nerve, it does not have to originate in the neck. Do you notice sore or swollen elbows?

Stop do skull crushers and take it easy on tricep work for a week or two and see if that helps.

Had a similar issue, but I also had severe cramping in the upper back and shoulder area. Itfirst started as a numbness, I let it go figuring it was a pinched nerve. But to muy surprise a few years later after it recurring, I found I had a blown disc hitting the nerve sleeves at bothe sides. c-6 and 7. I had to have it surgically repaired because nothing was helping.
Now today I am able to lift heavy, but still have some slight issues that should go away with time. I had the surgery about 8-9 months ago. Be careful with this, it could turn into a problem.
