Ok, i know this is prob a huge topic with as many variables as there are shapes of people, but if you don't ask you don't get. So here goes (with apologies, i have tried to find this info elsewhere before posting).
Later on this year i'm hoping to get on a novice Test. Enanthate, it'll possibly be a 500 dose split twice/week. Now i've looked at natural cutting and bulking cycles diet plans and they average around 150g+ of lean meats at each sitting (except the pro-shakes etc). Here's an example i've seen recently:-

1- whey protein isolate 2 scoops 56g in water (50g protein), 50 g oats
2 - 6 egg whites 2 whole, bowl of oatmeal
3 150g turkey/chicken/fish, sweet potato/brown basmati rice, broccoli
4 pre workout shake - 1 scoop whey isolate in water 30 g oats
TRAIN
5- post workout shake; whey protein isolate 2 scoops 56g in water (50g protein), 50g high glycemic carbs (dextrose, maltodextrin)
6- 150g turkey/chicken/fish, sweet potato/brown basmati rice, broccoli
7- 150g turkey/chicken/fish, sweet potato/brown basmati rice, broccoli
8- 150g turkey/chicken/fish, sweet potato/brown basmati rice, broccoli
9 - casein shake

Ok. it's just an example but it looks similar to others, its just for a referance point.
My question is this, how much more protein to you feel should be added to this example for a typical 170lb male (this is where i hope to shed down to). Or is it that the increased protein synthesis action of the Test Enan will simply make better use of what is already present?
Guys, i'm really hoping this is not rubbish. Trying to head a better understanding of the process.
Thanks IC

Oh dear, praps i could have simply typed this lol ..
Does the 1.5g protein per pound of bodyweight still apply when using a basic Test cycle like i described?
(might have made an easier read, sorry lol !)

Well what I do is just manipulate my fats and carbs when cutting and keep my protein high (around 1.75g per lb up to 2gr per lb).

9 Meals is a bit overkill imho. You want to give your body some time to break down the food you ate and when you eat solids it takes a good 90min to break it down. I would go with 6 - 7 meals but not that many.
