what are your guys thoughts on using the anabolic diet while on cycle... i know that the anabolic diet's main advanatage is the high fat intake gets naturals test levels sky high. and for an enhanced athelete, our natural production iss shut down....so fats wont do anything in that regard. but as a genetic endomoroph thats is allergic(lol) to carbs...i feel that the only way to put on mass is by getting a ton of calories...and the only way to do that with out getting too fat is to keep my carbs/insulin way down.

(the anabolic diet is a cyclical keto diet with a carb spike on the weekends.)

low carb diets are typically for cutting body fat. If that is your goal, then the use of AAS will preserve your muscle while in calorie defeciet. If you goal is to gain muscle, I don't think it will work.

Keto diets are great for loosing muscle, staying flat, and ending up overtraining. Ask our very own DW, and he'll be able to tell you about what happened to him with a no carb diet.

You need carbs if you want to stay full, grow, and retain strength. Without them you're only setting yourself up for failure.

If I want to add flavor to my cooking. . . . . . . I just burn it

There is NO such thing as over training just under EATING. ~ Trey Brewer

I agree, my wife tried a keto diet and ending up doing just that, losing muscle, losing energy, and putting on weight that wasn't muscle in the places in which she was trying to loose, needless to say she was very un-happy with the results.

I have been using MCT oil which burn more like a carb than a fat and get a lot of energy from it. I don't think many people use it on this board as I started a thread a few weeks ago, but got no feedback. I need carbs but like the MCT's for additional calories and energy without the insulin spikes.

You cannot grow on low carb diets. Many incorporate a rotation while bulking but there are always high carb days in there. But a keto diet with a refeed? naw. But with as many drugs as people run these days...shit anything is possible. But even with heavy usage I do not foresee any serious addition in size and mass.
