What do you all think of the legality/safety of ordering Research Chemicals with respect to the purchaser?
Has anyone ever been busted for ordering ancillaries? Common sense would dictate that the Feds are more concerned with controlled substances and their analogues (Schedule 1 drugs, steroids, analogues of these, etc), but I was just wondering.
Considering a purchase, but do NOT want to get in trouble.

It is legal to buy any research chemical. Remember these are not sold or intended for human consumption. They are for experiments.

I'm starting to wonder whether that is just folklore. The disclaimers that products were not intended for human consumption were completely dismissed in Operation Webtryp, which netted the Chem Suppliers of hallucinogenic analogues.
What I want to know is whether anyone's been busted for "buying" such items. As in the Web Tryp scenario, I think its quite clear that the sellers of these items are legally vulnerable and will be hit if and when the FDA (DEA has no role here as no controlled substances are being sold) decides to take action.

I have never heard of anyone getting busted. The whole thing is in the gray area of legalities but I think as long as they aren't steroids or ghb or anything like that then you are totally safe.

I agree we're safe for the time being anyhow. As of right now their legal to order.
