Testosterone helps heal muscle strain?

I'm off my cycle, I did 250mg for about 10 weeks with the last 3 weeks doing it with 25mg of clomid. Then two weeks of pct with 25mg of clomid. Before you start railing on my dossages...see the footnote below.

But, as luck would have it, I strained my quadricep pretty badly. Its now 5 weeks and I still have pain walking. Because it was localized to my rectus femoris, I can still do light squats, deadlifts with minimal pain....so I turned august into my transition into weight training month.....sucks should be my peak. But anyways, I'm currently off cycle.....has anyone had experience with Testosterone helping heal a muscle strain? Would 125 mg be enough, 250 mg? I didnt plan on another cycle (this time a muscle build cycle) until October, but I can do a low dose healing cycle. I'm already starting p.t. next week, but its been 5 weeks without cycling and I'm going apeshit.

Footnote: I'm a competitive cyclist, 250mg was actually *too much* to be taking in season...and the clomid definitly helped reduce the bloat. It was racing season, its a balancing act tween weight and strength gains.

most steroids increase protein synthesis so they will help with the healing of muscle and muscle recovery. but i dont think starting a cycle just for the sake of trying to recover from a pulled quad quicker will do much good.
