I really like these products. The Surge Recovery was first recommended to me by a sports nutrionist. It tastes great and has good protein to carb ratio which is great if you have to train again that same day.
Surge Pre-workout is newer I think, and is basically a carb drink with added beta alanine, citrulline, sodium phosphate, sodium citrate etc. Basically good fuel for extended intense workouts.

Only weird thing about the brand (biotest) is that they seem to be hard to find in stores, I get mine from their website.

Would love to hear if anyone has used these products or any others from Biotest.
Thx

It Can protect against fat storage if taking an occasional excess calorie meal.It Reduces the desire for carbohydrates and carbohydrate rich foods.

Biotest makes several excellent products. Their proteins are top of the line and unsurpassed in taste. SURGE is one of the only protein blends formulated specifically for post workout. Their original T-2 thyroid regulator, was a great product. The problem with Biotest is 3-fold. They overhype their products much like Muscle-Tech. Their prices are far too high, and they have stuck with and continue to tout products that have proven virtually worthless, like Methoxy-7 and their T-2 Pro. This detracts from the credibilty of their entire product line.

I once bought a case (6 cans) of Surge at Max-Muscle moving sale and while it may have worked well, it shouldn't have cost that much for only 10 servings. As far as real world results, I see very little difference between the most expensive hydro-whey or whey isolate and using any good whey concentrate in my PWO shake.

Methoxy and Tribex have no credible research support, and did nothing for me except lighten my wallet. Myostat has very little, and the research is not peer-reviewed, and of questionable origin.
