What is a good clean goal for me?
I have recently been getting into cleans and would like to know a respectible goal for a person who benches 315. I have heard that a clean equal to bench is good, but that is quite a bit for me. Right now I have a max on cleans of 225. BTW I weigh 180 lbs.
I think that a clean equal to your bench is more than respectible. I usually don't clean anywhere near my bench, not that it matters.
If you can clean your bench your pretty bad ass. I cleaned 365 but I can bench 500+. I think I would have kept doing olympic lifts if there we're more info on the net on how to get stronger in them quicker. All I ever see is work on technique and periodization.
