Hi guys,

Im currently just finished my 4th week of a Test Cyp 400mg/week and Equipoise 400mg/ week-12weeks Total. My gains have been slow up to this point, with a strength increase but not too much in the size department.

What are you thoughts? Should i bump up the test to 500mg/ 600mg/week? Or just ride it out and see if the size starts coming?

This is my 3rd cycle. Previous cycles, Test Cyp 400mg/week -10 weeks and some oral cycles.

I think EQ is a poor drug, and I doubt you will see much above what you would get from the test alone.

I would up the test, and bin the EQ; personally.

I think that gear is just another important part of the whole thing, it allows us to train harder and recovery faster. Nutrition is another important part of the whole thing. Sleep a lot, control stress, eat like a new born baby and train as hard as hell (but smart).

I don't think you need to increase the dosage, wait and see.

I would stick with the cycle as you planned it. As guijr said, gear is just one aspect of the bigger picture. How much protein are you taking in? Without proper macronutrients you won't grow on 3 grams of gear.

More importantly, people need to be realistic. Any weight/size gain within the first 4-6 weeks of a cycle is almost entirely water weight and glycogen storage resulting in larger muscle appearance. Actual LBM takes longer than 4-6 weeks to synthesize and stay and actual muscle. It's a physiological fact. At the 4 week mark your blood plasma levels are just starting to peak and you should start seeing some good gains provided you are eating, resting, training enough. For a 3rd cycle however 400mg of test and 400 mg of EQ seems a little light to me but you can't judge your results on no LBM gain after a measly 4 weeks.

You could always up the test to 500mg/week, but i'd leave the eq the same. You may notice better gains coming up though, since you only finished your 4th week. I think if the gains are still coming slow, maybe take a look at your diet and training also.

My diet is very clean, eating portions of protein/ carbs every 2-3 hours (30-40g/ 40-50g respectively)

As for the training, working out 5 x Week, single body parts/ day.

What affect will bumping the test to 500mg/ week for the remainder of the cycle have?

I suppose its just me getting impatient again!

Probably nothing mind blowing, but try it if it makes you feel better.

I also think you are training too much.

I would focus on the other parts of your program. Say diet (you must eat enough), workout (you must workout enough; but watch out you don't over do it); rest (yes, you must sleep and rest)...

I think you should stick to you cycle as planned, including keeping the EQ. Also, remember that sometimes we are the last ones to see the results in the mirror. A photo or measurements work the best in these cases...

As previously stated stick to your cycle. Its only been 4 weeks and you have 8 to go. Patients friend.

check your calories, up your protein and good fats.

dont raise the EQ or the test.

hit each body part 2x/wk brief and intense and you will grow. dont spend hours and hours in the gym. hit it hard and get the hell out and eat and rest

make sure your sleep is good and dont get hung up on every minute detail.

Hey for the feed back everyone!

I have stuck to the planned cycle, starting week 6. I havent weighed myself but i am getting extremly strong and other people are noticing so yeah i think i am the last one to notice.

As for the calories im just a bit worried about pushing the carbs up, i want to keep my body fat where it is now (8%) so will increase my protein intake as much as possible.

Thanks again for the solid advise
