Benson, one of the regular posters on my "home" forum, has long touted higher doses of Vitamin C, and got me to start up on it. Since I have, I've noticed an improvement in overall mood and sense of well-being, which was unexpectedly pleasant. Anyway, I was going to copy an article he wrote for MindAndMuscle.net, but he requests at the top that it not be copied without his permission, so rather than seek it, I'll just post the link and you can read if you wish:

Vitamin Vigor, Part I: The Many Benefits of Vitamin C

Regardless, how many of you supplement higher amounts of Vitamin C or make it a point to eat more fruits and vegetables rich in it? What, if anything have you noticed from it?

I liked large dose vit C intake, I don't use timed released as there is some speculation that it may be implicated in kidney stones and possibably other non serious problems. I notice fewer colds and far less muscle strains and injury.

liftsiron is a fictional character and should be taken as such.

I'm take 4g daily in divided doses of the normal stuff, personally. I've asked Benson before and he takes 4g of the time-release variety, 2g in the morning and 2g in the evening.
