hey fellas, I dont much dig on chinese food, but I have to go to PF Chang's for work tommorrow. I dont want to cheat on my diet for this. What is a pretty bland chinese dish that is fairly low in fat, and has some decent protein content? Keep in mind that I dont like much of this stuff (the flavorings get to me) so something bland is probably best. Thanks. BG

Most chinese food is very low in fat. Why not just get yourself a bucket of dry veal. I love that stuff..

Pick a chicken dish and get it steamed, with brown rice and sauce on the side. If you feel like it, ask for double chicken or something and tell them you'll pay more for it.

The lettuce wraps for an appetizer rock too. It has chicken (not fried), water chestnuts, and some other stuff in it,plus lettuce, so they can't be that bad.

i hate to tell you this but the lettuce wraps at changs are not at all healthy. the chicken they use in that dish is the fat and grissel that is thrimmed from the chicken breasts with a little brest meat thrown in and when they run out of fat and grissel they have frozen ground dark meat chicken that they use. the fat, grissle and breast meat are put through a grinder and then it is fried in oil to cook it before it is mixed with the ground waterchestnuts and mushrooms. then the mixture is reheated(stir fried) to order. i use to work at changs and when i saw this it ruined it for me forever.
