I first encountered the "green shits" back in high school during football season. The whole team came down with it and we soon realized that the grape flavored drink called Quick-Kick (similar to Gatorade) was the culprit. I can drink Fierce Grape Gatorade and it does the same thing to me today. Something about the purple color of the drink I think. I don't know if that's your problem but that's the reason for my green colored stools.:D

Sounds like your digestive system is having some troubles. It could be excess bile and/or your liver letting you know that it is working overtime.

Happened to me before and i went to the Doc, he asked how much fast foods i,ve been eating and sure enough it was a lot and in his opinion the McRaunchies was the culprit combined with a fast metabolism.

Actually, green stool is from the bacteria that lines the intestines. This bacteria aids in the process if digestion. What is happining is that the bacteria has died and sheds from the walls of the intestines. This may happen for numerous reasons, such as being on anti-biotics, mild food poisining, another bacteria taking over, and it also happens naturally every so often. It is recommended that when this happens to eat some yogurt or any of the "moldy" cheeses (blue, roquefort, gorgonzola, ect)to facillitate "Good" bacteria growth within the intestines. Of couse, it may be "colored" by a food coloring but "green stool" is usually a sign of shedding of the intesinal wall bacteria. Peace.

Bourbon! Zambucca! Opal Nera! They all give me the 'Green Wobblies'! Try and buy some yogurt with live bacteria cultures in it. Make sure it is vanilla and does not contain any fruit because the sugers in the fruit would have already killed it. You can, however, add fresh fruit without killing the cultures. This stuff with do the trick. I don't know if you have those tiny little milk-like containers which have live cultures either. I can't think of the names, but they are good too. Blonski

I get em when I dont eat enough veggies and then eat spinach or something like that. You can also get green stools from Irish carpenters. 😀

Purple colored drinks do it for me also. It was funny to see one of my daughters come running out of the bathroom scared to death because her turds were green after drinking purple minute maid too. I told her it was the frog that I put in her cheerios. Okay, I thought it was funny.... She didn't.
