Have you checked herbal/vitamin stores? I have seen it in a lot of retail shops.

By the way I'm not a newbie as the title shows. I know of all the different OTC liver treatments(water, cranberry, ALA, etc.) I just mainly want to know from the guys who have been on 17 AAs and which supp. they PREFER.

They are mainly aids in hepatocyte maintenance.....Like with alcohol and other toxic drugs, the liver can't detoxify fast enough, so hepatocytes then become damaged, and can ultimately lead to cirrhosis(not good)

Overrated cause of cost? Did you take milk thistle and get pretty much the same results?

I've used liv-52 before without blood work though... I think milk thistle is over-rated. I rely on r-ala, and NAC for my liver protection now 🙂

I have liver problems. What I use is Di-Methyl Glycine and Liv 52. It keeps my enzyme values where they are supposed to be. A place to get Liv 52 is Willner Chemists. @Willner.com. $16.76 for a bottle of 120
