I have had gyno surgery yesterday... They inyected me some kind of liquid to make the lumps more soft, then they use a ultrasound device to make the lump more soft, and finally they used a lipo device to remove all the gland... The question is: Since yesterday was the surgery, I feel a little sore and inflamation in the nipple area, can someone tell me if it's normal and the inflamation will go away in a few days??? THANKS

I just asked my wife who is a nurse and she said yes it is normal due to the surgery. If it presits after a few days or gets worse sek medical advice form your doc. Any other questions let me know cause she is sitting right here with me. Later

Inflammation is from the surgery and whenever you do any kind of messing around with things there will be some tenderness and some redness. Good luck with the Doc. appt. lets us know if all is ok.

I am not aware the you can lipo out the duct I thought that this had to be cut out. He can lipo out the growth, but with the duct still there it can reoccur. If the doc is not familiar with BB gyno and how it got there he may just try to lipo out the fatty tisue and call it quits. be sure. bs

yes just local anesthesia, means that I could listen and talk to the plastic surgeon.... But didn't hurt at all...
