I wish my calves were so big I wanted them to be smaller. I just trained the hell out of them and I still can't see them. I honestly don't think I had any to begin with. :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

I'm feeling your pain also bro. My chest has just become enormous from all this lifting. People look at me and they are like damn it's an Arnold Schwarzenager look a like. Imagine the depression and hell I have to go threw every time I hear that. I go home and cry. Just messing with ya.lol I wish my chest was as big as his, once I start cycling maybe one day it will be. Anyway, if you really want to lose muscle just like people are saying here just jog until you pass out, you should definately lose some if not alot of muscle that way. Lots of cardio=lots of muscle loss.

While we're on the subject of calves, is 17" calves considered small? I've had mine up to a little over 17 and a half inches at one time but have not been training them as often so they shrunk. I'm just curious. Anyway, they look small to me when comparing them to my 18 1/2" arms. Which I don't think is big either. I have small 7" wrists so they look bigger than what they are. People tell me my arms are big but I don't see it. It's gotta be this damn bigorexia shit.

ok ya....I have a distorted body image since I am always obsessed with losing size in the lower half. plus i am asking bodybuilders and that gives you guys more the right to ridicule me. You're going to say that I am skinny as crap once I tell you that my calves at the thickest point are 15.5 inches and my thigh at the thickest point is 22 inches.

but seriously maybe seek out some psychological help, wanting to become unnecessarily thin could be more of a problem with your brain then your body.

Agree, bringing upper body up to match would make more sense. I doubt your legs will get much smaller then 22inches. I also doubt you will get much more info from this line of questioning since this is a bodybuilder/powerlifter website not a site for people who want to look like Woody Allen. If you have any questions regarding diet, training, drugs, etc the good bros at Bolex will be able to answer them. Keep gaining/or shrinking.....whatever

Newbie approached you because as muscle maniacs, you'd know all about what makes them gain or lose mass. Some of you are hateful and are an embarrassment to the rest of us enthusiasts. You jumped to the conclusion that any guy wanting to get thinner, or even skinny just has to be gay. To put it in other words, your claim is "wanting to be thinner means you like to have sex with men." According to your flawed logic, the sports industry is crawling with "skinny fags." I guess all those Tour de France guys are gay. And all those Olympic wrestlers, martial artists, swimmers, and runners are gay, too, huh? Let's not forget our professional basketball players while we're at it. As much as it pisses you off, some of us grow muscles easily, for whatever stinking reason. Guess what, some of us just can't stand it. It makes fitting into clothes really freakin difficult and expensive, not to mention the fact that there is an imbalance in the overall growth of mass, such as Newbie's oversized calves (or in my case, gigantic quads and gracilus) Running is not always the answer to whisking off mass (it's what caused my gracilus overgrowth and flattened the heads of my quads into one uninteresting mass). Some people are thick legged, thick torsoed and just grow into a fast wall of muscle, despite a lot of running. I've seen guys out on the trails daily and they didn't get any skinnier, their legs just got more and more cut. Lastly, it would really help if you'd remember that you used to be a newbie. Remember how you felt when you got advice instead of ridicule? Didn't it make your workouts excellent?

Didn't it make your workouts excellent? well... i didnt go to the weight loss boards asking how to gain muscle using the reverse logic that since they know how to lose weight they must know how to gain it.. secondly, you sound like a skinny fag. now my disclaimer: fag is not used to bash any homosexuals, i am using the word fag the same as if i were to call you a dick.. i dont actually believe you are a penis, its just the name chosen to poke fun.

Well, I go where the experts hang out. If I want to know how to gain weight, where do you think I'd likely find experts at weight gain? Reverse logic is not insane. You're using fag as a pejorative, just like "dick." Penis and poke, very punny. What else ya got?

"Newbie approached you because as muscle maniacs, you'd know all about what makes them gain or lose mass" bad assumption..........

Kapn, you're right. Tisnyne: That's what I'm sayin'! I would like to trade my 25" thighs for your 20" ones. Friggin' A! That would add at least 2mph to my average biking speed. Guys, I'm hittin' the sack.
