I read on a thread that low blood sugar can cause bloat. I kind of noticed this when I go to low on carbs my face gets puffy. Any truth to this.

Well for me if I go low 150, and under my face gets puffy, and my abs get watery. Maybe its just the low cals, and my body starts to retain.

interesting... could make sense.. first time i actually heard that lil tidbit. why does taking insulin shots bloat a person? and that is a proven fact, insulin definetly bloats. and insulin and blood sugar levels go hand in hand. insulin surge causes low blood sugar levels, so i would say, yes, low blood sugar levels will bloat.

That's odd, I would think it is the carbs filling out your muscles, making you more vascular and full therefore you looklike you hold less water
