What is the max "safe" dosage of ephedrine and caffeine before a race?

Thanks

Dont use ephedrine;caffeine--200mg 1 hr before race and 100mg 1/2-1hr before finish.Check dose as effect differs from person to person, you should only use the minimum effective dose.M/track

Yeah ...that is a good point. If you use ephedrine too frequently it will F you up mentally. Doing it once a week is max in my books and maybe too much for some guys.

But the stuff does work physiologically to increase the force of muscle contraction...so it is best for a sprinter.

But it also opens up ones lungs a bit I think and it makes you confident and aggressive and with more energy. But when it wears off you feel wiped out a bit and a bit low in energy. This is the down side of any stimulant.

Yet the ECA stack has been sued for many many years with good results....25 mg of ephedrine, 200 of caffeine and 100 of aspirin.
Also, 25-50 of ephedrine alone is quite good.

Another choice is 25-50 of ephedrine 20-30 minutes before a race and 5-9mg per kilo of caffeine 1-3 hours before a race for the glycogen sparing qualities of caffeine. 2- 3 hours before works best for glycogen sparing reasons. More caffeine than that will make you sick to your stomach.

Then you pop another 200 of caffeine 30 minutes before the race for a little kick with the ephedrine.

Another good and safe stimulant is Ritilan.

I'm an admitted ephredine junky, although I've been off for a long while. I simply cannot get hold of it easily now. I only took 25mg/day with 200mg caffeine, pre work-out on my training day. Trouble was I trained almost every day and so hardly took any day off the ephredine. I guess it's best to try out and see if you like it before making any decision.

Your body develops resistance to ephedrine bro...so don't take it more than twice a week or it looses much of it's affect.

Doesn't using keto occasionally eliminate this problem? I use Eph often and I take keto once or twice a week before bed time and it never seems to lose its effect.

I don't know bro. Tell use more about that and the dose too.

I do know that if you use ephedrine more than 2-3 times a week you loose some of it's affect.....or you have to do a bigger dose and that's not good IMHO.

Well here is the spiel from cutting edge store on Keto:
Ketotifen is perhaps best known for its ability to inhibit the down regulation of beta receptors caused by drugs like clenbuterol and Albuterol. clenbuterol and its sister drug Albuterol are typically cycled on and off because they desensitize the very receptors they act on to produce their fat mobilizing effect. Ketotifen used in conjunction with either would allow the use of these fat burning drugs for much longer periods.

I have nothing other than anecdotal info that it does the same thing for caffeine and ephedrine... man I still remember the first time I used keto and I drank my (then) normal amount of espresso... holy crap I was so wired I couldn't function properly, bouncing off the wall!

Dear RG, Honestly, I never had any bad affect with eph+caffeine, or I would not have stayed with it persistantly. I slept well, and woke up fresh. Without it I felt crap after muaythai session, and would wake up sore. While the effect did wear off a little with prolong use, I felt I was still getting at least 80% of its power. BTW I've been off ephredine for over three months now. Oh, I used eph for stamina.

Can you tell more about Ritilan? I've never heard of it.

Sorry I did miss-spell it.

Methylphenidate( RitGrowXXLGear) is an amphetamine-like central nervous system stimulant.

It is a Schedule II controlled substance.

Me too, it works fine without any sides.
