how soon before a contest should you start. What type of carbs, how often throughout the day, and when in relation to work out or cardio? Thanks.

If you do the carb deplete/carb load thing, I'd recommend depleting for 3-6 days, then start your loading the Wednesday before your show. I've only carb loaded once and I looked like shit. I look at a carb and I hold water, so I fat load instead. Ask skip or check out some of his threads in the competitors section. He's a genius at that stuff.
