I got pulled over a few weeks ago for expired registration and my car insurance was expired by like 2 weeks so I was driving without insurance. I have to go to traffic court to show the judge I got my registration and car insurance has to be valid the day i got stopped or I will be fined some $$$$$. When I went to traffic court before on something like this about a year ago the deputy just asks to see it and says it was valid. Will fake insurance work. All I did was change the expiration date on the paper

HMM.. are u going to traffic court to see a court magistrate for a traffic violation.. or are u going to a real court cause its a criminal violation for the insurance thing? if that happend in massachusettes i'm guessing they would give u a Criminal violation, and tow your car away. rules might be different where ever u're from. which matters in this case.

Three words... "DON'T DO IT"! I was in court for a traffic violation and a guy tried that shit. I was waiting for my case to come up so I sitting a few rows away from the front. I couldn't see the papers the defendant handed the bailiff, but the judge had the guy sit back down while one of the Sheriffs deputies took the (presumably fake) insurance to the administration office to have someone call and see if the insurance was genuine. The guy waited for a couple of minutes then left (I presumed to go to the bathroom). An hour later he still hadn't come back! I can't attest to the quality of "insurance document" because I couldn't see it, but rest assured you are NOT the first person to think of this! This was 3 or 4 years ago and I don't know what ultimately happened to the guy, but I'm sure that the court doesn't look very kindly at all at submitting fake insurance documents. I'd imagine the penalty for this would be far worse than whatever your jurisdiction might hand down for simply not having insurance. Furious1

Scan it and change the dates...worked for me on countless documents. BTW, if you do get caught without insurance your rates will go through the roof.
