My ferriten was 20 last Jan. I started to pound the iron(inject).

Have you experienced any tissue staining from the iron injects?

Yeah, there is a right way and a wrong way. the right way looks kind of freaky so I just do the wrong way and live with the stain(ing).

For Iron injection you are supposed to use the "Z" technique. Use your non syringe filled paw to pull the surface skin kind of sideways, then push the needle in, inject, remove and release the skin. My injectable iron actually came with directions.

Yep, mine to, but it just seemed weird, I'd think that needle would bend when you release the skin. Maybe I'll try next time.

I want to ask, is injectible iron much better than oral iron? I would like to avoid injectible iron, and stains in my body, if I can.

Thanks.

I remember reading somewhere that injectable iron is so much more absorbed, but now it seems that may not be the case.
