So, I know this is a highly controversial topic and I guess I am confused on how these athletes see improvement. For example, when I am on cycle, my cardio goes down the tubes which is why I do not understand why it is popular in the olympics. I am sure part of it for me is carrying the extra weight and blood volumes and water retention. My current cycle is not quite as bad in terms of cardio, I've been working harder and it keeps my BP inline too. I guess I just don't see me breaking any land speed records or going balls to the wall in a sparring match during martial arts training. So, is it something different that they use? I read an article on IGF L3 AA that said it can improve coordination and things of that nature. I can see it in baseball from the whole power in the swing perspective and keeping them healthy during the season. Any insight would be greatly appreicated.

from my experience its all-about the type of aas and training but most importantly these guys just think AAS is the magic muscle pill, allot of them its just about looking good in their three piece suit in the news conference after the game. As for IGF L3 when i took igf it caused me more problems than it was worth and after a while i just decided that it wasint worth it, results vs. how much it was actually going to cost to ever consider running again. Basically its my opinion in not so many words that these guys really just have far too much disposable income and too many of the wrong people talking in their ears, i.e ppl who really dont know enough about aas or really know what it does.... just my 2cents tho

Yea, I am a simple cycle guy. I take some OTC supplements to help with the cardio. Cordyceps is good for natural energy plus accelerade help get me through sparring class. Guess you have to take the good with the bad. I can hit and kick harder and absorb more, but I sacrifice the speed and flexibility. That sucks because I am a stripe away from my blackbelt. I guess my body will adjust over time as I grow. Oh well, I am seeing good results, up 10 pounds, eating right, getting strong and I am still glad to be alive since the accident two years ago. Gratitude!

Certain AAS and Supplments do help with cardio and each sport has specific needs. If there weren't AAS which helped in many different fields you wouldn't see it so prevalently in the Olympics.

Somewhere out there, a little Chinese girl is warming up with your max squat
Fuck Gravity!!!

I have been wondering how aas works for these guys too. They are obviously not educated enough to increase calories or work out harder, they just think its going to make them play better. I have put plenty of football players on cycles, but they increased calories and busted thier ass in the gym.

Well, for what it's worth, many prolly do not know one compound from another but go on the 'advice' of their "trainer"!! That in itself is suspect but more often then not, the trainer should/could/would know what is/is not going to work. As it has showed in the past tho, put enough pressure on these "trainers" and they roll so fast on their clients it is unbelieveable. Just my .02......
