My knee's take a bit of a thrashing from cycling long miles so trying to figure out what's good to take to help them. I started taking Glucosamine from GNC... .This product to be more specific.

Is this stuff any good or are there better alternatives for getting stronger joints, ligaments etc?

Systematic stretching helps a lot.

FYI, Triflex's ingredients are 100mg Sodium, Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM. Did a google search and some places claim that MSM doesn't do shit.

I tired this stuff which had msm, glucosamine sulphate and some other weird enzymes in it (might have been msm). I had def problems with my knees as I push 500kg leg press twice a week...within 2-3 weeks the symptoms disappeared...but I took a rest as well.

But since taking it no problem.

O yeh...most important...warm up. I noticed if I did heavy leg pres without a warmup = screwed.

Probably stating the obvious, but....

Have you had your position on the bike checked?
Small mods in saddle position can help make a big difference.

Quite impressive your Leg Press poundage, but I think it's a mistake to do any exercise without proper warming-up (and pyramid the weights up).

indeed i learnt the hard way... i used to be fine...starting cold on 340kg or so...and then lately my knees started messing around...now i warm up on a bike at cadence 100 and wattage 130w for 10 min...and then i ramp it up from 300kg.

combined with above supplements...no problems.
