just wondering how all you guys deal with some real intense stress and anxiety?

Just going through some rough times, job, paying for community college, crazy mom, finances, love life.. roughin' it out unti I'm off training wage at work, car issues...lots of other good stuff.

Can't join the gym back for another two weeks, been off for months using weights at home (killin me!)

just getting some chest tightness i think its anxiety with all the stress and headaches ...

maybe once I'm back at the gym I'll feel a little better...

marijuana relaxes me but I get a little paranoid so I'm not going back to that since I think I can deal without drugs..

suggestions to relax ?????

I try to get some massage and a good and warm jacuzi.

exercise does it for me. I have been thru some very stressfull times in my life and in all cases have turned to exercise, particularly weight training and aerobics for therapy. After an hour of intense aerobics with sweat pouring off you and totally drained somehow i always am able to certer and put thing into perspective. use the anxiety and apprehension to work for you and become a driving force in your workouts.

Very, very well stated. I needed to hear that myself. I've thought I was having a heart attack many times, but it turned out to be anxiety instead.

Hang in there and don't stress out. It's not worth it. Find a support group... I have found them to be very comforting and reassuring. If you are on high androgens, pull back the dose. You may be sensitive to their neurological effects. It's no joke... Do what you need to relax. Deep, restful sleep is crucial for mental health... and muscle growth.
