Including my PWO shake I usually have an extra two or three throughout my day. It all depends on what diet I have devised for myself and what my goals are at the time.

I usually have 3 to 4 protein shakes daily and at least 3 solid meals a day. My protein shake is composed of a blend of 4 kinds of proteins: whey concentrate, casein (from low fat milk), egg albumin and soy powder.

three per day. PAMuscle gives good advice, a scoop of whey prior to a workout for musclebuilding and another scoop with com ecarbs after your workout are the two most important times. I toss in another scoop during the day depending on my diet. keep in mind that not only are you getting a boost to your protein intake but if you are taking good quality undenatured whey you get many other benefits including a huge boost to your immune system and increased levels of glutathione.

What's your opinion about milk casein, egg albumin and soy powder as other sources of protein?

at some level, protein is protein so long as it is balanced. I am just a fan of undenatured whey protein because of all the "other" benefits that come with it.
