Okay heres the deal I just got asked to go on a cruise. The boat leaves on Dec. 28. That leaves me about 10 1/2 weeks to get in pretty decent shape. Now i am very good at being strict about dieting. So thats not my worry. My worry is I have always gave myself about 18-20 weeks for dieting. I seem to have a slower metabolism than most people. I am right now 5'7", 200lbs, and about 20-22% body fat. I know that is kinda sick but that seems to be the only way i can get bigger is by getting fat. So now i just want to lean out as much as possible, Also i have to do it natural cause there is absolutely nothing around here for me. So can anyone help me out. Please also i just want to get anywhere from 7 to 12% bodyfat if possible, and also i will put some pics up as soon as i figure out how to put them on here. Hulk

Just simply cutting out junk foods like candy, soda, juices, and fast food will probably lose some pounds alone. I am not even close to a dietary expert, I have only a slight basic knowledge but I would say keep a food log; eat a lot of protein. Eat chicken breasts, egg whites, tuna, salmon, shrimp, extra lean ground beef, low fat cottage cheese, lean steak, salad (be carefull with dressing) and other similar low carb, high protein foods. Are you currently working out? If so, I would only eat carbs in the Am and post-workout. Also you should be doing cardio at least 3x a week for 30-45minutes. Work your way up slowly-if you want to jog walk 5 minutes, run 5 minutes and gradually increase running to walking ratio. Somebody with more knowledge will post better info but this should start you off. Make sure to get at least 300g protein, (its hard but doable with a protein supp and good diet), keep carbs to a minimum, and make sure to take an EFA supp and dont worry about fats, you will get enough naturally. Also ephedrine might help if the lack of carbs makes you tired, and it will help lose some of that fat. One last thing- going from 22% fat to 8% in a month is almost impossible; shoot for 14%

I think you should be realistic with your goals .. and that means being honest with yourself. For you to pull that kind of loss off in that amount of time would be nothing short of spectacular. To be honest .. i think 7% BF is pretty spectacular by itself. do u train? if so, how long have u?

Oh yeah i do train at least 5 days a week with at least 3 days of cardio, for 20- 40 minutes. Also i know that 7 % is real hard to attain and by all means i am not really expecting that. Like i said though i normally give myself 18-20 wks for dieting real strict, i go as far as absolutely no types of sweetners and no condiments. I also usually keep my pro at about 250-350, and carbs between 75- 200 depending on what i am doing and training that day. So now that we have gotten that out the way I was just wondering if there are any other things i can possibly do to shed some weight in that amount of time lets not even give numbers lets just say i want to get in the best possible shape i can get into in that time frame, Like i said it usually takes me at least 18 weeks to shed from 20% to about 8% don't know why but it does. Also i have been training for six years and want to compete in the future. So now with that info can anyone help me also thanks for the imfo creashark and 66lifter99\ hulk
