My father would like to take a run at some HGH this winter. I have NO experience in this department, but woud really like to help him out. He's been overweight for the last couple of years due to an old chest injury back when he was competing in the Southwest. He still has a lot of muscle, but would like to burn some fat, and tone his body again. Training naturally hasn't been getting the job done over the last year, so growth is obviously the answer for a guy his age. What kind of dosage should he be looking at? More or less than a young buck who's got twice the testosterone? I read the great thread up there, but there were no comments for a man of his age. I know doctor's prescribe small amounts of GH to patients for Testosterone theropy, but would a dose that small be effective? A good or bad idea to stack a fat loss drug as well, such as clen? What about a testosterone like prop? He's about 5'8" and 240 lbs. Intense in the gym, and very strict on his diet. Has been doing the atkins thing for a while, and has also tried several other low card diets. The results ending with him tired and pissed off because he can't get enough energy to make it to the gym. I'd appriciate any and all advice! Thanks SoCalDevil Semper FI

I read it BIGWILL, great thread. I learned a lot, but I am looking for age specific information. The majority of the posts on that thread are 30 and younger. Thanks

He could start at a very low dose (2 IU per day), run that for a month, and see how he reacts. His specific reaction will be partially related to how much is own HGH levels have declined. At his age, I'd avoid any of the stimulant fat burners.

Yeah, I agree with ByXmas-its basically trial and error and to go with lower dose with be safer anyway. This is in part because you could always bump up your intake after the "practice" month. And like Xmas said avoid the t3 and cytomel maybe even the clenbuterols.
