How good is this antibiotic, has anyone had any experiences with it,just curious doc just prescribed it and wondered how effective it will be??also should you hold off with your next shot until the keflex is finished and infection clear??
I have had it presrcibed often as a general anti-biotic.... seems to be flavour of the month at my practice. Seems to do the trick. Never needed to use repeat.
S2K did it take long for you t osee results??also was the area being treated very svere??cheers AL
Had it for a range of severe infections.... 5-7 days....
Thanks mate, must work well seems to be widely used across this board,AL
hey mate! i had a huge allergic reaction to it and ended up in hospital! so enjoy! D i swelled up worse than ronnie in the off season!! big rash and nearly had my hroat constrict!
what did he prescribe it for..cellulitis....respiratpry........ITs a good antibiotic.......but there is stuff out there like azithromycin where you only got to take it for five days/ once a day. But if Im treating my guys for cellulitis Keflex is ususally the one Ill Pick. IF your a llergic to penicillin then there is about a 10% chance of cross reactivity
ive dispensed it, it is a useful agent, and will be effective if the organism that you are infected with is susceptible to it if your doc prescribed it then chances are he has a good grasp of what is the likely organism and so he would have made a good choice antibiotics swallowed should not interfere with anything you are injecting intramusclularly so no dramas there you have a script for what youre injecting of course dont you cheers mate
