I am going to buy a juicer and I wated to see you guys opinion on the two juicers. I can get a brand new Juiceman Jr for $25 or I can get the Juiceman II for $75 brand new. Which one should I get? I guess the only difference is going from a 1/4 HP motor to a 1/2 HP motor. Any recipes also for these things?

If you can afford it get a juicer that has a slower motor. The faster juicers oxidise the juice because of the speed...I have used a Champion for years and have plenty of recipies.

Well I havent even considered any other juicers. Looks like the champion is more expensive, in the $150-200 region :(. But I hate to get something thats not worth it and waste $75.

Actually I paid a lot more than that several years ago...but the thing is a tank and doubles as a homogenizer. The inexpensive juicers are made of plastic and the first thing that usually goes are the hinges that clamp the two main parts together. The plastic that holds the metal hinges cracks. It will probably last a few months of daily use though...

got a juiceman II after all, got a good deal on it too so I figured it will be alright if it craps out. Now I just need some recipies.
