4:20-5:50 - Drive to work

bloody hell mate having not lived i a city since i was a student i just cannot comprehend doing that.

anyway back to the subject.

vegeies

beans
broccolli
capsicum
cucumber
tomato
lettuce
zucchini
squash

are just some of the ones i can think off the top of my head.

also for conveinence look at frozen bags of vegies (now some will not agree here) but just throw a cup of them into an omelette in the morning to get your servings up.

i also use bread(again some will disagree) but i find some of the "heavier" type breads for the want of a better term to be OK.

i also eat yogurt(again some will not agree) throw in some berries and wash down with a protein shake for a snack idea.

come back and make sure you post up with what you come up with.

lol...Rome wasnt built in a day my friend. Generally I try to stay away from the scale but it is ahrd to do. I would say take pictures, you can see the difference best there, and of course by how your clothes are fitting. Give the extra 10mins of cardio some time see if that helps a bit. If not I would up the cardio 45 mins (depending on intensity). If you are walking 30 mins on the treadmill on 0% incline at 3.0 mph, dont expect much weight loss. So far you are making great progress by your numbers. Sometimes our bodies hit a sticking point. Try changing your diet up some too.

Solid advise!

I'd say also try to go by how the pants fit more than what the scale says. Scales tell half the truth. Half the truth is half a lie. Even if the pants get a little tighter, ten to one the strength went up. You can always carve up later.

The fibrous vegatable idea is a very good one. Your green vegies especially. Brocoli and carrots are number 1 imho.

I dont live in the city! Never have, never will. Problem is, to make any money around here you have to DRIVE to the city. 60 miles each way, the first 55 are cake, its those last 5 that take forever.

I'm going to the natural food store this weekend, Ill post monday what Ive found.

OK, Went to the natural food store, loaded up on Basmati brown rice, african black beans, lettuce and sourdough bread.

Looking more like this now
4 am - protein powder w 1/2 cup 2% milk and a small chunk of sourdough, vitamins, glucosamine
8 - 2 eggs
10 - 2 eggs
12 - 2 chicken breasts and 1/4 cup (dry) basmati rice
3 pm - tomato skin wrap w/ham, lettuce, vinegarette sauce
6:15 - post workout meal (undefined source)
9 - protein drink then bed

Of course there will be substitutes, tuna for chicken, beans for rice.. etc, but thats the base idea.

Im sure more modifications will follow, but I think its looking up.

OK, new modification.

1 Chicken breast moving from lunch (12) to 3pm meal in the wrap. That will make 50 gram protein at 12 and 3.

What about the Protein (MRP) bar AFTER the workout? Seems like maybe a better spot for it due to the simple sugars.

Now to figure out a better 8 and 10 am meal, and how to pare the whole caloric intake down a bit.

This is taking longer than I expected, but it seems to be taking shape.
