ice cream, i can eat whole gallon of it, lots of calories, good if you want to get fat. but i dont think that is what you are looking for. i would suggest pizza as it has a lot of calories and i good amount of protein, or you could just get a weight gainer supplement

It's not about the exact number of calories, it's about whether you are getting bigger or not. Try to keep a consistent diet for a week. Weigh yourself on waking every day. If, at the end of the week, you've not gained a pound, eat more food (about 300 calories worth per day). Choose foods that have a balance of protein, carbs, and fats. Repeat process.

Peanut butter. It's not only high cal, but also high protein. Peanut butter has a lot of fat, but most of it is unsaturated which is good fat. Over all it's a very well balanced with carbs, protein, fat and fiber. A scoop several times a day will easily add 1k calories to your diet. Cheese cake and ice cream will just make you fat.

Im more along the line of thinking that 250 is on. Dont go chowing down on crap foods like icecream and peanut butter and pizza....bulking is not an excuse to eat everything not nailed down, and a calorie is not a calorie. If u go eating shit, u will look like shit, dont try for massive overeating while bulking, your body wont be making muscle out of it, u will just be adding to your waist size. BUlking and claoric intake should be gradual and CONTROLLED. U should know exactly how much and how often u are putting stuff into your body. Measured increases, and when u do increase, u should not be increasing your calories by adding crap junk food, u should add more clean food, more high protien, more shakes...or more often...

I agree with most every thing you said, but your dead wrong about peanut butter! Peanut butter is not a "crap food" and anyone that says it is, doesn't know what they're talking about.

Skip (from our board) eats something like 2 tbsp's/day peanut butter in his precontest diet. It taste badass, and it's got good fats.... One of my current cutting meals is two cans of tuna w/ dill relish, and then 1 tbsp of peanut butter to get the discusting taste out of my mouth.

PIZZA.. eat a whole pizza throughout the day.. thats like 3000 calories right there... lots of carbss, not bad in protein, lots of fat.. u get everything.. throw in a few protein shakes during the day.. and not a bad bulking diet.. u'll gain fat and be sick of it, over a long run lol Good when on the run, and dotn have access to your kitchen.. one week worked a lot of hours, took that week off from going to the gym, and didnt have much time other than to sleep and work.. so just got a large pizza everyday,, a couple of protein shakes, and alot of water bottles.. surrounded by cereal and what not i was able to eat before i left for work, and after i came back from it.. but doing the 12 or so work hours that pizza got me thru, plus some stuff from the vending machine.. overall gain ed size on that week.. if i hadnt done that, surely would had gone somewhat catabolic. AND also cause of that MASSIVE CARB UP.. i had a lot of energy for weeks to come in the gym, and eating clean.. made good gains, the rest and carb up kind of helped, and instead of being depleated and tired after working all those hours, i actually got re-energized.

I'd leave stuff like cheese cake to the pros cause high bodyfat isn't an issue due to all the gh and god knows what else. But as far as bulking keep it simple and stay on a clean diet..once a week I'll have a pizza or stromboli. no sweets, just taking a step backwards in your diet and appearence.

You guys are awesome!! Thanks for the advice. From the sound of it I think I have been on the right track all along. I was under the impression that I had to take in between 2500-4000 a day. That is not the case apparently. Thanks again brothas for the advice!! TR
