Coudn't tell you but there is a company in new jersey testing a compound called MYO-029 as a myostatin gene suppresant with good results. if you read all the info on that subject its pretty wild.If they have success in that area, and bodybuilders get ahold of it things will change forever.genetic freaks will walk the earth!!!from what I've heard though, the supp.s are bogus. iron irish

if its one of those otc myostatin inhibitors yes its bullshit, how can it work? i thought the myostatin can only be affected through gene doping i.e atached to a virus and injected. wether people have been tested on yet im not too sure, but that mutant kid i germany (dont know if you've heard of him but he has a mutant myostatin, he was able to lift a 7lb weight at arms length when he was just 3 years old) i read his perants were olympic athlete's maybe they had it done??? as for how freaky a bodybuilder can look, some ifbb pro's had their myostatin tested a few years back flex wheeler was abnormal, and ronnie's was normal! but properly mutated i guess gains are gonna endless, have you ever seen those cows, that are bred with mutant myostatin? i think their belgian blues?? i'l find a pic i'll find a pic of those myostatin mice too! sorry it wasnt the most scientific explaination, maybe someone else can fill in the gaps!lol!

As stated above, any supplements making that claim are bullshit.

There are no supps out there now that will block it. I have seen a few ads starting to prop up. Total BS. But in theory the actual drug is very interesting.

My initial reaction to these myostatin blockers was,"Wow, that would be cool!" After some thought I realized that would enable people to get big without even lifting. I don't want that. The fact that we earn our muscle sets us apart.

The fact that we earn our muscle sets us apart. Very good way of looking at it. Well said. But if these drugs did become available it would be hard not to try them. But I'm with ya on the 'hard work' aspect. It instills a sense of pride in what we do.

I'm sure that Muscletech is already working on the new ads for their new "Myostatin Blockers", called "Mackic" or "Myostackic".
