Hi all im new to this place.. and just posted a more life issue... Guys im turning 30 in 3 months.. And honselty... i dont really know what to expect.. Im not happy or sad.. just normal.. I mean its just a number.. but trying to keep the muscle mass on had only been harder as we are all aware here.. 11 years of training and although i have enjoyed every minute of it.. Ive been thinking i should hang it all up in 3 months and live a "NORMAL" life and just enjoy it wihtou having to time meal/think about muscle catabolization and stay in shape (do cycles here and there).. etc etc U guys get my gist.. Most of my mates who live non BB lives seem i guess more at ease with theior busy lives.. inc kids without having to sleep right/eat right Sorry about the rant... 😀

It's all about balance.. Responsibilities, family, all that, my time at the gym is my time to myself. Stress relief and all that, i'm not quitting anytime soon, I'm 31. Although if you were to back off a little, it would be understandable. But why?

yes dotn u find that balance is a very thin line?.. I know what u mean by balance in life.. but sometimes.. when u try and say go on a 6 week AAS cycle .. Everything esle has to stop around the cycle or suffer poorly.. It just eats into u mentally sometimes then physically.. Ive also been promoted i the company.. but the responsibilites and stress has increased 10 fold ...

turned 30 this year, and im more focused in they gym than i have been in the past couple of years. 26-29 sucked due to work (off shifts) and life in general. so it all depends on where youre at. have a good 30 year old bash then continue along as before.

Well, if normal means turning into a fat slob and lying on the couch all day eating potato chips then that is just slow suicide. But if by normal you mean eating right, keeping your weight under control and doing a sensible workout routine 3-5 days a week then you improve the quality of your life until the day you die.

Life is what you make it. Age is only a number. You here those things a lot, but people react differently to it. I had no problems turning 30. I am 34 now. My priorities have change since I hit 30. I haven't done any cycles since. I workout to stay healthy, look good and relieve stress now instead of trying to be the strongest guy in the gym. My joints feel a lot better now. The only thing that is difficult about it is leaving my ego at the door when I walk into the gym.:D
